The Third Annual Woof-fit Mini-Triathlon for Dogs and Their People is raising funds for The Smiling Blue Skies® Cancer Fund, part of the University of Guelph's Veterinary College and Teaching Hospital Pet Trust.
The OVC Pet Trust honours the relationship between pets, their people and veterinary caregivers by raising funds and supporting learning, health care, and research at the Ontario Veterinary College. Working with and through Pet Trust, Smiling Blue Skies has generously supported many OVC initiatives in a variety of areas, including the development of North America's first cancer registry for companion animals and the investigation of novel cancer treatments and approaches. Together, we are making a difference and taking a big bite out of cancer!
Up to 75 dog/human teams will run ,walk ,ride, pedal, blade ,swim, wade, paddle or row in a mini triathlon course with a total of 4.5 kilometers of pure fun.
