OVC Pet Trust is Canada's first charitable fund entirely dedicated to advancing the health and well being of companion animals. Over the past 36 years, OVC Pet Trust has raised more than $73.5 million through the generosity of pet owners, their veterinarians, friends and supporters.
Each year, OVC Pet Trust provides funding for innovative discoveries. This support has led to major improvements in anesthesia and pain control, heart treatment and monitoring techniques, protecting pets and people from infections, advancing cancer diagnosis and treatment, understanding the human-animal bond, and much more.
Learning and healthcare also receive vital OVC Pet Trust support. Pet Trust supports academic and clinical personnel to ensure the highest level of veterinary training and healthcare for pets and supports veterinary postgraduate training so tomorrow’s specialists continue to provide the very best healthcare for our animal companions.
